What does it run in price to have an engagement ring attached to it’s guard or wedding band?

Published by melissa under Wedding Rings

My fiance’s single solitare round cut 1 ct leo, is getting a vintage hispanic guard, but we would like to have them attached together soon, wondering what that costs.

call around to the jewelry stores in your area, the price range is $25- $75. depending on the metal and style of ring. the cost goes up if they have to “work” around designs, stones or anything

Im not sure what a professional attchment would be but I have a set as well with the band guard and they have these tiny rubber ring guards, just for holding both rings together. Thats what I bought and its not noticable and works perfectly

most jewelers do it for free as long as that’s where you bought the rings. i got my engagement ring and wedding band at JB Robinson and i asked them to be soldered together and they did it for free. just go back to where you bought the ring and i bet they’ll do it for you at no charge.

It costs $35 at a local jewelry store I’ve been to.

If you go with a local jeweler who can do the work in the shop, it would probably cost somewhere between 25-35 dollars. If you go to a store that’s a big company where they send all of their work elsewhere, you’re probably looking at more because of the shipping costs.
