Yellow Gold or Platinum Settings?
diamond earring / ring set in should be yellow gold or platinum? what looks elegent, royal & goes on everyday clothing?
I am an indian, having most of my jewellery in yellow gold, but living in USA and not using much of my jewellery.

Well even though yellow gold is pretty, if you have the chance to get platinum i would because it is worth so much right now. (and its gorgeous)
Definitely platinum setting. Yellow gold is a bold colour as such meaning that you have to always match it with what you’re wearing for it to look good. Platinum is silvery white and so you can wear it with just about everything and it looks elegant and classy as well as being able to be worn on everyday clothes.
i love yellow my husband got my engagment ring in yellow god i always thought platinum with a dimond ring but its amazing. anything though its what you like
You can wear for white gold setting for everyday wear is cheaper, platinum setting is expensive depending on your budget.
Really it’s whatever you like most. There is no hard and fast fashion rules anymore. The trendsetters are the people who dress for themselves instead of trying to follow others.
I really like platinum personally. But if you have mostly yellow gold, then maybe it would be best in that s everything mtched together.
